Although brewed in the traditional German lagering style, this dark, chewy, malty baby’s anything but your thin yellow fizzy. Far from it.
Dark and rich as mahogany. Chewy as liquid biscuit, the way the fasting Friars of yesteryear liked it. Tasty, like deep purple fruits spread on toast sprinkled with caramel-covered pecans. Let it sit for second. And then taste the warm, full-bodied bloom of all that toasty malt slow dancing with the dark, sweet fruits.
So, when your stomach’s growling but weirdly enough you can hold off on the eating, ‘cause by gawd, you want to drink, this is your appetizer, dinner and dessert all poured into a pint.

Hops: Oregon grown Sterling and Santiam.
Color: Deep reddish brown.
